A. Jacobs and Sons was established in 1891 and for over 110 years A. Jacobs and Sons has been recognized as the finest manufacturer of' 'Natick' approved custom made military uniforms in the nation.

F and F Uniform Company was founded in 1946 by two World War II veterans, Yale and Ralph Friedlander. These two brothers built a company that specialized in the manufacturing of custom made uniforms for the various police, sheriff and fire departments in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C.. F. and F. Uniform Company was incorporated in Maryland in 1946.

In 1957 these two companies merged to become what is now known as F & F and A. Jacobs and Sons, Inc. Our tailors, cutters and sewers are members of the Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union and The Baltimore Regional Joint Board, Unite.
